How can I reserve a puppy?

Please fill out a puppy application! This helps us get to know you and what you are looking for. The application is located under the "Puppies" tab on this site. We will contact you within 24 hours after your application is received and send you our "Reservation Agreement." You will then place a $500 deposit that goes toward the total purchase price of your puppy.

Do you deliver puppies out of state?

Yes! If you are located outside of Utah, we have a couple of options to get your puppy to you. We can use a flight nanny who flies with your puppy in cabin and meets you at your nearest airport. This service typically runs about $700 and is a very safe way to get your puppy. We can also meet you at the Salt Lake City airport, if you would prefer to pick up the puppy yourself.

Where are the puppies raised?

Peak Puppies are raised right in the middle of our homes! We each have a designated "puppy room" that is right off of our main living areas. Some litters are raised at Jenna's, some at Jami's, some at Shea's, and some spend time at multiple households! We have almost identical setups and follow the exact same curriculum at each house. 

Do your puppies come potty trained? 

We do everything we can to lay a solid groundwork for potty training, but a fully potty trained 8 week old puppy doesn't exist. They just don't have the mental (or bladder!) capacity at that young age. We start early potty training at 3 weeks old by introducing a designated potty spot. We love using potty pads under a grate system. Through trying many different methods, we have found this is not only the easiest for the puppies to grasp, but also keeps them and their pen the cleanest. We are diligent about keeping the pen clean so that the only potty smells come from their potty spot, which teaches the puppies where to go and follows their natural instinct of keeping their "den" clean. When puppies go home, eventually your entire home becomes their "den" that they'll want to keep clean. Around week 4, we also start taking them outside multiple times a day to also get them used to going potty in grass. 

What goes home with each puppy?

Each puppy is sent home with a puppy bag. Documents in this bag include our sales contract, health guarantee, veterinarian records, Trupanion health insurance information, and AKC records (when applicable). We send home a blanket and toy with mama's scent, as well as a chew toy and small bag of food.
